Driving School Hakaniemi first and second period course for B licence

Want to get your first (B) Driving Licence in Finland, for driving a normal passenger car and van?

Our regular Theory lessons are 8 am and 3 pm. It is same subject on the morning as afternoon so you can choose which one you come. There are all together 20 different subjects on the basic B course and Theory lessons takes three weeks.
First week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Second week on Wednesday and Thursday.
Third week on Wednesday and Thursday.

you listen attend all Theory lessons, then practise with Computer for theory test and start driving with the Teacher, complete first Theory test and after those continue driving lessons ending to driving test.

The Theory test rehearsals are available in English, at our Driving School and also in Internet. You can also purchase a CD for home practising in English.

Theory test contains 50 Traffic situation pictures and 10 other Tasks which are questions and traffic signs.

Normally in Theory test time limits are 10 seconds per traffic situation picture and 30 seconds per other task. If you`re native language is not English you can have Theory test without time limit, so called Oral test. In Oral test you have one hour time to clear up.

All the tests must be ordered via our Office.

The Basic B Course includes material, theory lessons, 30 times * 25 min. driving lessons in car in traffic and dark practise 2 * 25 min. with simulator , and using car in one driving test ( with our Teacher`s presence ).

We offer to drive a course with normal or automatic gearbox. Announce to us which one you want in the beginning of a course. If you drive your driving test with automatic car you can drive only automatic car in future.

First period B-course price is 1550 euros. In addition other payments 255 euros.
First payment is 200 euros and it must be paid before starting school. Second payment is 200 euros in two weeks from beginning. These payments must be cleared before driving lessons starts. Third, fourth and fifth payment will be during course which normally takes 2 – 3 months.
All payments must be cleared one week before driving test.

Next B-course hasn't been planned yet. It will start end of February or beginning of March 2012.

Your first stage Driving License is valid for two years and during that time you have to complete second period course ( one hour driving in normal traffic with teacher and schools car in English, 3 hours at slippery track in English and one evening theory in Finnish ) and dark driving practise in English with simulator if you haven't done this reherseal before.
We use slipery track at Porvoo Kulloo. You can look at the track from here.
Second period course starts with driving with teacher in normal traffic and with school car.
On that driving your Driving License must be valid. At the slippery track it doesn't have to be valid.

Today 17.2.12 there is next time room on the second period course which slippery track is on thursday 23.2 starting 2 pm to Porvoo and on evening back. Theory lesson is on monday 5.3 at 6.30 pm at school.

Slippery track thu 8.3 and theory lesson mon 19.3

Slippery track thu 15.3 and theory lesson mon 19.3

Secon period course price is 230 euros. In additon Track using payment 70 euros.
At the Slippery Track you need a car and if you use our car it's 75 euros.
Dark Driving practise is 85 euros.

After these further educations and 18 months own driving you get long Driving License which is valid until you are 70 years young.

This Driving Licence is valid in all EU countries and also in the whole world. ( Note: some countries might require other paper evidence, like translations into their language ).

Note: Second period course educations doesn`t include in to the first period course price. All our courses are according to the Traffic Laws and Regulations in Finland.
